UFSCar celebrates the implementation of the Strategic Plan for Internationalization

Proposal for 2019-2022 was approved by Capes to receive resources, strengthening teaching and research within the graduate framework.

On December 13, UFSCar celebrated the approval of the Institutional Project for Internationalization - UFSCar-PrInt. The academic community of UFSCar represented by coordinator of graduate programs, members of manager group and other authorities representing graduate and research, as well as coordinators of administrative units involved in the strategic plan for internationalization. The celebration began with the opening ceremony, which was attended by the magnificent President, Wanda Machado Hoffman, Vice Dean of Research, Ronaldo Censi Faria, and coordinator of the division of international relations, Marcelo Fila Pecenin. The Strategic Plan for Internationalization (SPI) intitled "Developing global knowledge and cultivating intercultural competences" was presented by Audrey Borghi Silva, Dean of Graduate Programs and Manager of the PrInt-UFSCar. After that, the thematic projects were presented by the by the following professors:

1-Cristina B. Lacerda: Education and human processes for social transformations;

2-Teresa Cristina Zangirolami: Revolution in Industries and Cities - Industry 4.0 and the Smart Cities

3-Luiz Eduardo Moschini: Biodiversity, Ecosystem Functions and Sustainability;

4-Lucia Helena Mascaro:  Strategic Materials

5- Aparecida Maria Catai: Integrated technologies for health: from prevention to rehabilitation.

The event symbolizes an institutional framework with the UFSCar-PrInt project approval, and brings us the responsibility for a new Institutional management model, committed to its strategies to boost the internationalization of graduate programs.
